Summary
Hi-Gest 360 is the first commercially available low lignin alfalfa variety available for alfalfa producers. Whole plant lignin is 7-10% lower than other varieties. Lower lignin content means no yield drag, no loss of pest resistance, and no reduction in winter hardiness with a 28-30 day harvest schedule.
